Acorns walk at Tentsmuir
Acorns (3-18 months) walk through Tentsmuir

UPDATE: Regular weekly sessions are currently on hold.

I have recently accepted a new part time job as a student assistant in a primary school and will be starting a child minding business week days during school term times. Due to these changes I am putting regular Wild Fife Babies and Bairns sessions on hold and will no longer be running them from Silverburn Park.

Once I have become settled in my new roles I do hope to run outdoor baby sessions 0-18 months in or around St Andrews. I also hope to continue running outdoor birthday parties for 1-5 year olds. However, both of these are on hold until I find a new insurer or funding for insurance.

I would like to thank everyone who has ever attended a session. This last year has been such an amazing experience. I will miss all the wonderful friends I have made, both young and old. I am sad that I can no longer continue in the way that I have done, but due to the cost of living rising I am in need of more stable income.Love to you all – Hollie xxx

Welcome to Wild Fife Babies and Bairns.

A group set up initially during lock down for new parents to enjoy the outdoors and nature with their babies and has now grown to incorporate young ones from 3 months – 11 years!

Session leader Hollie is a Conservationist and promoter of Citizen Science (public participation in scientific research). Hollie uses her environmental background, experience of working with young children and her own knowledge as a parent to run fun and relaxed sessions for you and your little ones.

Wild Fife Babies and Bairns’ main aim is to ignite and encourage the natural curiosity and inquisitiveness of young children in nature, so that hopefully not only will they develop a love and respect for the natural world but will also gain from all the benefits it has to offer for their own physical and emotional development along the way.
